Ice Dance

Every once in a while my iPod will go through random songs on shuffle. I LOVE it when it lands on an Edward Scissor Hands song. Particularly while the "Ice Dance" song was playing, I was looking through inspirational images that I save, spreading them out all over the floor. I wasn't finding any inspiration. Then it hit me, I got to paint what I love most. What moves me most. Danny Elfman + Tim Burton + Winona came to my mind. I took the pic below on my phone while I was watching Edward Scissors Hands not too long ago. I remembered this particular image, and figured I m gonna do it. So this is it. This scene is so magical for me, when she dances in the falling snow flakes. I paint for me, and I know subconsciously its for someone else out there.
