I was asked to do a self portrait of Taylor and Megan Kawasaki, and I was so honored Megan asked for such a request. I grew up with Megan and always loved her sense of style. I'm not usually accustomed to do a actual self portrait of someone-- too much pressure. But I knew Megan appreciated the styles of my Rock Star paintings, so I went for it. Again it's a very abstract take. Taylor has an amazing nose ring, and I wasn't going to use any glitter. But at the last minute I decided to. Great couple, fascinating faces to capture. I'm truly grateful for another commission that pulls me out of my comfort zone. Thanks Megan and Taylor!
