Our First Thanksgiving: San Francisco & Carmel

Rolland and I made a lovely getaway to San Francisco. It was such a a magical time. Rolland's best friend Ed, invited us to have Thanksgiving with him and his family. I must say it was one of the most amazing homes I have ever seen. The art on the walls was spectacular, the Murano chandelier and not to mention the delicious organic whole foods turkey. Rolland and I spent one of our days in San Francisco, we went to Haight and Ashbury to shop, then to Berkley for some true authentic italian food, and one of the best homemade ice cream cones (pic below). On the way home we stopped by Carmel...... I want to live there. It reminded me a lot of Washington coast.  We had a lovely time, the trip was so needed after being 3 weeks of being apart. I hope you all had a lovely Thanksgiving.... Rolland and I are now preparing for Christmas time. Time for our first Christmas Tree!! I love making traditions.
