I've been reading an incredible book on interesting subject matters. One of the many topics discussed about is the so called "Siren."
Marilyn Monroe was our modern day Siren. Cleopatra was a one of the most world known Sirens. Oddessy, the book speaks of Sirens as well.
The Sirens looks are striking but nothing compared to there charisma, touch, and voice. The voice is used in such a way to lure the men, their prey. Such a frivolous topic to blog about. But it is such a interesting subject that once existed and yet still does till this day.
Below are legendary paintings that captures the romantic Sirens of the oceans, that would captivate pirates, or men of the sea.
"The Siren is the ulitimate male fantasy figure because she offers a total release from the limitations of his life. She is dangerous, and in pursuing her energetically the man can lose control over himself, something he yearns to do. The Siren is a mirage; she lures men by cultivating a particular appearance and manner. The Siren learns to embody his fantasy."- Robert Greene
